RICHARDSON, Texas – A&M-Commerce had 81 of its student-athletes named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2013 fall semester, league officials announced on Tuesday.
 
Starting this year, the Commissioner's Honor Roll is being announced at the conclusion of the fall and spring semesters with student-athletes qualifying based on grade-point average for the current semester. Previously, the honorees qualified by GPA for the current academic year and were announced at the end of the spring term.
 
The Lion football team led the way with 18 selections to the list, followed by both men's and women's track and field with 13 nods. Of the 81 on the list, 23 finished with a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester.
