Wichita Falls – The men's basketball team returns to action following the holiday break hiatus as the Lions travel to Midwestern State in a battle two teams on seven-game winning streaks.
 
Fans can listen to the game on the Lion Sports Network on Thunder Country 107.1 FM or on the KETR broadcast. Both broadcast will continue throughout the remainder of the 2014-15 season.

- The Lions are on a seven game win streak highlighted back-to-back wins over top 25 opponents with a 68-67 win over No. 11 Cal.-Baptist and a 74-64 win over No. 17 Dixie State in the CBU Thanksgiving Classic.
- In their last game the Lions topped Henderson State 91-61, reaching 90 points for the fourth time ... LaDon Carnegie recorded his third career double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds ... He also notched his 10-th career 20-point game ... Darrell Williams picked up his seventh double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
- Darrell Williams has grabbed 15 plus rebounds in four games this season -- 15 at Ouachita Baptist,17 vs. Cal. Baptist and 15 vs. Southern Arkansas ... He tallied the highest rebounding game in the LSC with 20 in the second DBU game.
- A&M-Commerce fell 104-101 at Dallas Baptist in overtime on November 24 ... The Lions were 50-of-65 from the free throw line ... Both were school records while the 50 makes tied the highest mark in the LSC ... LaDon Carnegie was 18-of-23 setting a new school record for makes and attempts.
- The Lions are the NCAA's leader defensive rebounds, second in free throws made and fourth in free throws attempted ... The Lions are third in rebounding margin and fifth in total rebounds.
-A&M-Commerce has had an LSC Player of the Week in each of the first four weeks of the season ... Darrell Williams has won one offensive POTW and two straight defensive POTW awards ... LaDon Carnegie was named offensive of POTW once.
- Carnegie is ranked second in scoring in the LSC, while Williams leads the league in rebounds and is the only player averaging a double-double ... Williams is ranked fourth in the NCAA in double-doubles with six ... The same number as the 2013-14 Lions ... Williams is also fourth in the NCAA in rebounds per game and total rebounds while ranked sixth in defensive rebounds.
- The Lions are coached by Sam Walker ... Walker is in his 15th season with A&M-Commerce and is the school's all-time winningest coach with an overall of 233-174 ... He has complied a 94-88 record in LSC games.

A&M-Commerce vs. Midwestern State:  The Series
- The Lions and Mustangs have met 52 times prior to Saturday night's meeting with Midwestern State holding a 32-50 advantage in the series.
- Midwestern State has won 14 of the last 15 games with the lone Lion win, 74-66, coming at home in Commerce on January 9, 2014 ... The last A&M-Commerce road win came game in the 2003-04 season -- a 57-46 Lion win.
- Under head coach Sam Walker, the Lions are 19-5 against the Mustangs.

- Midwestern State enters the game at 11-3 overall after a 90-63 win over South Dakota Mines on December 31 ... The win extended the Mustangs winning streak to seven games highlighted by a double overtime win, 90-83, on the road at Lynn.
