Commerce, Texas – The Lions have reached their final game of their six-match road trip, ending with a matchup against the St. Edwards Hilltoppers.
 
The Lions have been on a downward slope and are on a current three-match losing streak all ending in three straight sets. The Lions hope to make a turnaround and improve to 2-4 during the slate of road matches before returning back to The Field House in Commerce, Texas. A&M-Commerce has an all-time record of 6-7 against St. Edwards and are a winless 0-4 when traveling to Austin, Texas at the Recreation and Convocation Center.
 
The Hilltoppers are apart of the Heartland Conference where they are 6-13 overall and 4-5 in their conference. As of now, the Hilltoppers sit at .500 with a 5-5 home record. Mikayla Grill leads St. Edwards with 177 kills and 2.68 kills per set but has a hitting percentage of .122. This season, opponents have aced St. Edwards 113 times and have an overall hitting percentage of .183.
