The Lions Approach Their Final Road Match of the 2015 Season

Commerce, Texas – The Lions take their final voyage of the 2015 season in a Lone Star Conference battle against Texas A&M-Kingsville Saturday, October 31 at 2 p.m in The SPEC.
 
The first time these two teams met this season was at The Field House when the Lions won a thriller in five sets (28-26, 25-23, 19-25, 19-25, 15-11). The Javelinas recorded nine aces against the Lions and had big performances from Ashley Bukowshi and Krystal Faison who both registered 16 kills. Things have not changed much for the Javelinas as far as production receiving most of it from Krystal Faison who leads the team with 308 kills and averaging 3.11 kills per set.
 
Texas A&M-Kingsville is currently on a four-match winning streak pending a bout tonight, October 29, against Texas Woman's in Kingsville, Texas. The Javelinas have been impressive on the road this season with an 8-2 record but struggles at home posting a 6-5 record. Conversely, the Lions are 10-5 when playing on the road against Texas A&M-Kingsville and have a 41-11 overall record versus the Javelinas.
