Commerce, Texas – The No. 1 seed and No. 11 ranked A&M-Commerce and the No. 2 seed and No. 10 ranked Midwestern State will kickoff opposite each other for the second time in four weeks Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium in a nationally televised game on the American Sports Network.
The game will be carried on KIDZ (MyTV) in Abilene, KJTB in Lubbock, KIDY-2 (MyTV) in San Angelo, WOAI-2 in San Antonio, KJTL (FOX) in Wichita Falls and nationwide streamed on the NCAA.com.
1st and 10- The 6-0 record in the LSC while claiming the program's 22nd title and first back-to-back championship run since the 1958-59 seasons. The 22 LSC titles is the second most in conference history. The Lions a 6-0 record in the Lone Star Conference was the first time since 1990 the Lions have gone undefeated in the LSC play and the 11th time in program history.
- The 36-35 win over ASU clinched the Lions a berth into the NCAA Playoffs for the first time since 1995. A win Saturday over Midwestern State would clinched a home playoff game for the first time since 1991.

Harrison Stewart has throw for 300-plus yards in back-to-back games after his 335 yards Saturday and his 432 yards against Sam Houston State on October 31. Stewart has thrown for 2,644 yards moving just 218 yards within surpassing Buster Faulkner's 2,861 yards in 2004 for second on the Lions single-season passing list. Stewart has thrown for 4,487 yards moving into seven on the Lions all-time passing list.

Richard Cooper eclipsed the 2,000 yard career rushing mark as his 116 yards becoming just the sixth Lion all-time with over 2,000 rushing yards. His 2,025 career yards moves him into sixth all-time on the career rushing list.
- On the season, Cooper has ran for 1,186 yards in 2015 moving into seventh on the Lions single-season rushing mark just ahead of Demetrius Rector and his 1,167 yards in 2001.
- Cooper earned LSC Special Teams Player of the Week after his 88-yard kickoff return that re-energized the Lions.
- With
Darby Smith and
Lance Evans hauling in 138 yards and 126 yards respectively through the air, the Lions had a pair of receivers over 100 yards for the first time in 2015.
- The Lions have won on goal line stands in the first round of the Lone Star Conference Playoffs for the second straight season after stopping Tarleton State in 2014.
About the Series against the Mustangs- The two teams meet for the 21st time Saturday, with A&M-Commerce holding an 12-8 advantage in the series. MSU had won the last four meetings in the series and eight of the last nine meetings until the Lions took the first meeting in 2015, 27-14, on October 24 to clinch the LSC regular season title.
- A&M-Commerce is 8-2 against the Mustangs in Memorial Stadium. Prior to the 2015 regular season win, the last Lion win came in 2005 at home.
- The series started with 10 straight Lion wins spanning from 1947 to 2000.
About No. 10/No. 2 seed Midwestern State- The Mustangs enter the game at 9-1overall and a second place finish in the LSC after a 5-1 record. ... MSU topped No. 3 seed Eastern New Mexico 26-21 on a last minute TD to advance.
- The Mustangs have defeated two ranked teams this season after knocking off No. 6 Angelo State 29-20 on October 3 and No 10 Humboldt State on Oct. 17, 35-10.
- MSU averages 31.5 points per game, while holding opponents to only 22.2 points per game. The defense gives up only 385.5 yards per game including 176 yards on the ground per game.
- Vincent Johnson leads the team averaging 55.7 yards per game on the ground. Johnson has carried the ball 96 times and scored five rushing touchdowns.
- Hagen Hutchinson has been thrown into the starting QB role after an injury sidelined Quade Coward. Hutchinson averages 40.4 yards per game on the ground and 141.4 yards passing.
-Statron Jones leads the team in receptions with 40 catches for 57.2 yards per game and two touchdowns. Arsenio Phillips leads the team with five receiving touchdowns.
- The Mustangs are coached by Bill Maskill in his 13th season at the helm of the program.
