Lions Host East Central In Former LSC Matchup Monday Night

Commerce, Texas – The A&M-Commerce men's basketball team will continue its current four-game home stand when the Lions welcome former Lone Star Conference foe East Central into The Field House Monday night.

- A&M-Commerce enters the game at 6-2 overall following a 75-63 win over Ouachita Baptist marking the Lions third straight win after sweep Harding 89-87 on a game-winning three by De'Andre Carson and an 85-79 win to open the current four-game home stand.
- The Lions are split at the Holiday Inn-Airport Thanksgiving Classic with a win over Western State and a loss to Colorado Mesa.
- Ronnie White currently ranks fourth in the NCAA in offensive rebounds per game at 4.8 per game.
- The Lions are sixth in the NCAA in defensive rebounds per game averaging 32.1 defensive rebounds per game ... They are ninth in the NCAA in rebounding margin at plus 9.1 per game.

- The Lions opened the 2015-16 campaign with an 81-66 win over Oklahoma Christian before falling to Newman 89-79 in the second game of the season at the Heartland-Lone Star Challenge.
- A&M-Commerce returned seven players from 2014-15 ... Anthony Adams is the team's leading returning scorer after averaging 11.3 ppg and 3.8 assists per game a season ago.

A&M-Commerce vs. East Central:  The Series
- The Lions 35-27 in 62 games all-time and the once former members of the Lone Star Conference Tigers.
- ECU has the last win in the series, a 71-65 win in 2012, but prior to that game the Lions had reeled off nine straight wins and 15 of the last 16 dating back to the 2001-02 season.

- East Central enters Monday's gmae at 5-2 on the season and 3-0 in road games ... The Tigers are riding a four-game winning streak after knocking off Ouachita Baptist, 79-74, in their last game on December 5.
- The Tigers have played their last three games on the road, all of which have been wins while knocking off DBU, Henderson State and previously mention Ouachita Baptist game.
