Turning Point


The late service error in the first set by the Lions opened the door for Arkansas Tech to take the set and set the tone for the entire match. The Golden Suns never gave up the lead in the second set and only trailed 1-0 in the third set.  

HOW IT HAPPENED

Set 1
In a set with 9 ties and 6 lead changes, the Lions lost the first set 26-24. A late service error opened the door for Arkansas Tech to close out the first set.
Set 2
Arkansas Tech opened the set with a 5-0 run and increased its lead to eight points in the set. The Lions fought back narrowing the gap to one, however the Golden Suns held on to take the set.
Set 3
Although each set was competitive, Arkansas Tech closed out the Lions in three sets. Lions had 12 kills but six errors alone in this set.
