COMMERCE – The Texas A&M University-Commerce athletics department celebrated the graduation of its student-athletes this weekend, as 20 Lions received degrees at Winter Commencement ceremonies in the Field House on Friday and Saturday.
20 Student-Athletes, Student Athletic Trainers, and Dance Team Members participating in graduation, with 16 earning bachelors' degrees and four earning their Masters degree. One student-athlete graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors, while two student-athletes graduated with Cum Laude honors.
The December graduates were honored with a reception on Friday night following the graduate program's commencement ceremony. Ceremonies for bachelor's degrees were held throughout the day Saturday.
