Cats Host Dogs for #FillTheFieldHouse Saturday

Commerce, Texas – The A&M-Commerce men's basketball team will host the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds Saturday at 6 p.m. for the Fill the Field House event.
 
All admissions Saturday will be free.
 
Fast-break Points About A&M-Commerce
- A&M-Commerce enters the game at 16-9 overall and 5-7 in the LSC after a 93-84 loss at West Texas for the Lions third straight loss. The Lions lost to Kingsville to snap a four-game winning streak. The Kingsville loss started the current streak.
- The Lions defeated MSU on the road for the first time since 2003-04 in the series.
- The win over then ranked No. 22 Tarleton State marked the first time in program history the Lions have knocked off two ranked teams on their home courts ... A&M-Commerce defeated then ranked No. 4 Angelo State 93-88 on January 9.
- The Lions had a  nine-game winning streak that was the longest since a nine-game streak in 2004-05.
- A&M-Commerce has sevens wins over top 25 teams in the last three years after knocking off No. 4 Angelo State and No. 22 Tarleton State.
- The Lions defeated Southwestern College 111-60 marking the program's 10th 50-point margin of victory ... It was the 11th highest margin of victory in the NCAA DII on the season ... The last time A&M-Commerce won by 50 or more points was in 2005-06 when the Lions defeated Paul Quinn by 51 points, 104-53 ... The largest margin of victory for the Lions came in 1986-87 when then East Texas topped Southwestern Assemblies of God by 70 points, 128-58.
- Anthony Adams was named the LSC Offensive Player of the Week then followed up with back-to-back LSC Defensive Player of the Weeks ... Byrant Crowder earned Offensive Player of the Week.
- The Lions had a record breaking 132-83 win over Huston-Tilloston ... The Lions set the school record for points in single-game in the win.
- Bryant Crowder leads the Lions with four double-doubles ... All told the Lions have had four players record 11 double-doubles on the season.
- A&M-Commerce is coached by Sam Walker in his 16th season at the helm of the Lions program ... Walker is the program's all-time leader in wins with 266.

A&M-Commerce vs. Eastern New Mexico:  The Series
- The Lions and Greyhounds have met 62 times prior to Saturday's game ... A&M-Commerce holds a 42-20 advantage in the all-time series and a 39-18 advantage in LSC meetings.
- A&M-Commerce has won 15 of the last 18 meetings despite ENMU winning the first meeting in 2015-16, 72-60,
- The Loins had won the last four  games after enjoying a season sweep in 2014-15 with a 91-67 win at home and an 86-80 road win over the Greyhounds.
- Under head coach Sam Walker, the Lions are 19-7.
 
About the Greyhounds
- The Greyhounds come into the game at 6-18 overall and 2-10 in the LSC ... ENMU have dropped their last four games and sit in the cellar of the LSC.
- Three current players average double figures with Domingo Domingo Lawrence leading the way with 11.6 points per game while shooting 46.9 percent from the floor ... Lawrence  leads the team with 8.3 rebounds per game, as well.
- ENMU is next to last in the league in scoring offense (71.5 points per game) and last in scoring defense allowing 82.6 points per game
