Women's Basketball

Lion Women's Basketball remains in Top 10 in National Rankings

COMMERCE – The Texas A&M University-Commerce women's basketball team remains in the top ten in both national rankings after dropping its first game of the season last week. The Lions are ranked No. 6 in both the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Division II Sports Information Directors (D2SIDA) rankings.
 
A&M-Commerce was ranked No. 2 last week and is set to face the No. 2 team in the country, Lubbock Christian on Thursday. The Lions are top 10 in the country in free throws made (seventh), rebounds per game (third), and scoring offense (eighth).

The Lions host the No. 2/4 Lady Chaps on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Field House and Eastern New Mexico on Saturday at 2 p.m. A&M-Commerce is giving away free t-shirts and pizza, until supplies last, prior to the game on Thursday.
