BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Henriette Stranda carded her first top 15 finish of her collegiate career for the Texas A&M University-Commerce women's golf team at the Oral Roberts Spring Invitational this week on The Club at Indian Springs.

Michelle Becker, get sick this weekend. Luckily, we had our individual Julianna with us, who could step into the lineup," said coach
Lise Malherbe. "We played well overall. I am very proud of Henriette and her top 15 performance especially with her first under par round and first 60s score yesterday!"
Stranda (Kraakstad, Norway) shot a 75 to finish with a score of 221 and tied for 11
th place. She finished 10 strokes back of Sam Houston's Leah Alberto, who won the tournament by two strokes with a score of 211. The Bearkats ran away with the team title, winning by 19 strokes over Oral Roberts.
Both
Benz Far-Arun (Bangkok, Thailand) and
Jordan Dusckas (Flower Mound Marcus) tied for 31
st with scores of 230. Far-Arun shot a 75 on Tuesday and Ducskas carded a round of 74.
Marie Naeher (Neuenbuerg, Germany) tied for 43
rd place with a score of 235. She shot an 81 on Tuesday, while
Julianna Crow (Trinity School of Midland) tied for 68
th place with a score of 248, shooting a 82 on Tuesday.
Malherbe added, "we're going to use the next few days to rest up as we head into an exciting week at the conference tournament."
The Lions have now completed their first regular season since the move up to NCAA Division I. Next week, the Lions take part in the Southland Conference Championships for the first time. The SLC Championships tee off next Monday at Hill Country Club in San Antonio and conclude on Wednesday.
