COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University has announced the full schedules for the 2026-27 basketball seasons, as well as season tickets information and announcement of the Lion Basketball Tip-Off against Tarleton on October 18.
Both Lion teams play 14 regular season games at home, which is slated to be the final season in the Field House on Hunt Regional Healthcare Court for both teams.
2026-27 SCHEDULE
The Lion women begin the season at home on November 2 against Oklahoma Christian, which is also Education Day, presented by Signature Solar. East Texas A&M also hosts Louisiana and UNT Dallas in non-conference play. Full schedule for the Lion women, presented by Alliance Bank, can be found

For the Lion men, they play their first two games on the road, beginning at Oklahoma on November 2. East Texas A&M plays host to FDU as part of Education Day, presented by Signature Solar on November 11. The other non-conference home game comes against Arlington Baptist on November 24. BASKETBALL TIP-OFF AGAINST TARLETON
The first game of the season in the Field House is on October 18 in an exhibition contest for the Lion men against Tarleton at 2 p.m. Admission is free for all fans and the day will serve as a tip-off event for both basketball teams including a pre-game tailgate by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, post-game interactions with both teams and more.

www.LionAthletics.com/tickets. A new addition this year is the Cub Season Pass. All kids 12 and under will receive free season tickets should at least one parent has purchased a season ticket and registered their information via the form
