COMMERCE – The 2026 spring season came to a close for the East Texas A&M University football team with the Spring Showcase hosted on Saturday inside Ernest Hawkins Field at Memorial Stadium.
 
The Lions hosted 15 practices during the spring culminating in the showcase on Saturday. East Texas A&M now looks ahead to beginning the 2026 season later this fall. The first home game of the 2026 season comes on September 12 against Northwestern State.
