FRISCO – East Texas A&M University women's golfer Marie Baertz has been named to the all-Southland Conference team for the second year in a row.
 
Baertz (Luxembourg) was named to second team all-SLC on Thursday morning, being the only Lion in the Division I era to earn those honors, now having done it twice.
 
This season, Baertz had a scoring average of 77.0, with four top-20 performances, including a 12^th-place finish last week at the conference championships. She also finished fifth at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial during the fall.
