East Texas A&M University football fans in and around Northeast Texas can watch the Lions season opener at Mercer along with their fellow Lion fans at two official watch parties, with one in Commerce and another in McKinney. 

The watch parties will be held at the TUPPS Brewery in McKinney as well as the Buffalo Wild Wings in Commerce. Giveaways and enter-to-win contests are planned for both locations. 

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. central on August 29 as the Lions take on Mercer as part of the FCS Kickoff. Fans that cannot join the football team in Georgia or attend either of the watch parties, can watch the nationally televised game on ESPN.
