East Texas A&M University Athletics

Played in 52 games in his four-year A&M-Commerce career... Finished in third place in school history with 312 career tackles... Recorded 27.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, four interceptions, three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a blocked kick... Was a 2017 All-American, a 2018 All-Region selection, a three-time All-Conference honoree and a one-time National Defensive Player of the Week... Was part of two LSC Championship teams and the 2017 National Championship team.

2018: D2CCA Second Team All-Super Region 4... First Team All-LSC... D2Football National Defensive Player of the Week (9/19)... LSC Defensive Player of the Week (10/8)... Played in all 13 games as a senior... Finished 10th in the LSC in tackles per game and sixth in total tackles... Finished fourth in the LSC in tackles for loss... Recorded 103 tackles, including 15 tackles for loss and two and a half sacks... Had four games with at least 10 tackles... Had four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and 18 total tackles against Eastern New Mexico (9/15)... Recorded 16 tackles against Tarleton (11/24) in the second round of the NCAA Playoffs. 

2017: Don Hansen Honorable Mention All-American... First Team All-LSC at linebacker... LSC Defensive Player of the Week (10/30)... Played in all 15 games as a junior... Led the team and was fifth in the LSC with 101 tackles... Made 51 solo tackles, had one interception, five pass breakups, six quarterback hits, four sacks and had two forced fumbles... Had four games with at least 10 tackles, including a season-high 14 tackles in the Lions’ playoff win against Harding (12/9)... Had an interception in the team’s playoff win against Winona State (11/18)... Made six tackles, including a sack in the National Championship game (12/16)... Was part of the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship team.

2016: All-Conference Honorable Mention… Played in 12 games as a sophomore for the Lions… Led the team and was tied for 13th in the conference with 68 tackles, including 37 solo tackles… Tied for second on the team and ninth in the conference with two interceptions… One of 16 Lions to record at least one interception… Had an interception against Western New Mexico (10/15)… Recorded his first career sack against Angelo State (10/22)… Set a career-high with 11 tackles and an interception in the Lions’ playoff win over Colorado Mesa (11/19)… Had 5.5 tackles for loss and two other quarterback hits.

2015: Played in all 12 games for the Lions as a freshman, finishing with 41 tackles with two tackles for loss… Started his A&M-Commerce career in style with season-best nine tackles vs. Adams State (9/3)… Had seven tackles in the LSC playoff semifinal vs. Angelo State (11/7)… Had an interception and five tackles in the LSC regular season finale vs. Midwestern State (10/24).
