2017 (Outdoor): First Team All-American in the long jump and Second Team All-American in the triple jump... Named to the All-Region Team in the long jump and the triple jump... First Team All-LSC in the triple jump... LSC Men's Field Athlete of the Week (4/19)... Competed in seven meets in the long jump and the triple jump... Had four first-place finishes and nine finishes inside the top five... Placed first with a long jump of 7.18m at the Bobby Lane Invitational (3/24), setting an NCAA provisional mark... Placed first in the long jump and the triple jump at the East Texas Invitational (4/15)... Placed second in both the long jump and the triple jump at the Bobcat Twilight (4/21)... Placed first in the triple jump with a career-best jump of 15.68m at the LSC Outdoor Championships (5/6), setting an NCAA provisional mark... Set a season-best mark of 7.42m in the long jump at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships (5/25), placing eighth... 2017 (Indoor): Named Second Team All-American in two events... Named to the All-Region Team in two events... Second Team All-LSC Selection in the long jump... Third Team All-LSC Selection in the triple jump... Competed in seven events in the jumping events... Had seven top-3 finishes on the season... Finished second in the triple jump and third in the long jump at the MSSU Southern Invitational (1/20)... Had his best meet of the season at the LSC Indoor Championships (2/18), setting season bests in both events... He hit a mark of 15.31m in the triple jump, finishing in third place... He broke his school record long jump as well, posting a mark of 7.41m, which earned him second place... Qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships (3/9) and finished in ninth in both the long jump and the triple jump, earning him All-America honors.

2016 (Outdoor): Named Second Team All-American in the long jump... Named to the All-Region Team...Named to the All-Conference Team... Set a personal-best with a triple jump of 15.54m in the East Texas Invitational, placing first (4/16)… Placed second at the Lone Star Conference Championship (5/5) in the long jump and third in the triple jump… Placed eighth in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championship in the long jump.

2016 (Indoor): Named Second Team All-American in the triple jump... Named to the All-Conference Team... Placed second in the triple jump at the Lone Star Championships (2/20) with a mark of 15.42m, a personal indoor best… Placed sixth in the triple jump at the NCAA Division II Championship (3/11)… Placed second in the long jump in the LSC Championships with a mark of 7.31m.

2015 (Outdoor): Qualified for NCAA Nationals in both the long jump and triple jump ... Garnered Second Team All-American acclaim in the triple jump with a distance of 15.07m at the NCAA Championships, finishing ninth ... Appeared in eight meets for the Lions, competing in the long jump and triple jump ... Received two USTFCCCA All-Region nods in both the long jump and triple jump ... Won a silver medal in the triple jump at the LSC Championships with a personal best distance of 15.29m ... Accrued 11 top-five finishes over the course of the season, headlined by four first-place finishes ... Smashed his personal best in the long jump at the East Texas Invitational with a distance of 7.60m, finishing first.

2015 (Indoor): Competed in four meets for the Lions, competing in both the long jump and the triple jump ... Logged four top-ten finishes on the year ... Set an indoor personal best in the long jump at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational with a jump of 6.76m ... Finished second overall at the UCO Invitational in the triple jump with a distance of 14.25m.

2014 (Outdoor): Competed in four meets for the Lions ... Set a season best in the long jump with a leap of 6.78m to finish third overall at the Tarleton State Invitational ... Earned a third place finish in the triple jump at the LSC Championships with a personal best distance of 14.77m ... Went second overall in the triple jump at the East Texas Invite with a 14.56m performance.

2014 (Indoor): Competed in four meets for the Lion while competing in the Triple Jump ... Posted a season best finish of third at the UCO Indoor Invitational after a 13.54m jump ... The best distance on the season came at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships with a 14.29m jump that got him a fourth place finish ... Also recorded Top Ten finishes in all four meets in the season. 

2013: Did not compete for A&M-Commerce. 

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Lettered four years in track and field at Navarro ... Finished fourth place at the state meet in the triple jump in 2012 and fifth in 2011 … Named Navarro Co-Athlete of the Year All-Area … All-District Honorable Mention selection in 2012 … Received Academic All-District in 2012 … Set school record in triple jump with a distance of 47’ 2 3/4 “… Part of a record setting 4x400m relay team with a time of 3:29 ... Also lettered three times in football, twice in basketball and four in golf.

Personal: Son of Everett Bowles and Shawn Martinez … Born June 11, 1994 … Plans to major in Exercise Sport Science or Business.
