Played in 54 games in his five-year A&M-Commerce career... Recorded 107 tackles in his career, including 18.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks... Also had one fumble recovery and a forced fumble... Was a one-time All-Conference selection... Was part of two LSC Championship teams and the 2017 National Championship team and was a member of five NCAA Playoff teams.

2019: Played in all 13 games as a redshirt senior... Recorded 25 tackles with 4.5 tackles for loss and one sack... Also forced a fumble, had a fumble recovery and had two quarterback hurries... Had two tackles for loss in the team's playoff win over Colorado Mines (11/30).

2018: Played in four games as a senior before an injury allowed him to redshirt... Recorded two tackles against Lock Haven (9/29).

2017: Honorable Mention All-LSC at defensive line... Played in 14 games as a junior... Recorded 43 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss... Had two tackles for loss, including a sack, in the season-opener against North Alabama (9/1)... Recorded a seaosn-high nine tackles against Eastern New Mexico (9/16)... Had eight tackles and a sack in the NCAA Semifinal game against Harding (12/9)... Had a sack in the NCAA Championship game against West Florida (12/16)... Was part of the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship team.

2016: Played in 12 games as a sophomore… Finished the season with 21 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack and two quarterback hits… Came on strong in the postseason… Had five tackles, a sack and a quarterback hit in the Lions’ playoff win against Colorado Mesa (11/19)… Had seven tackles in the second round playoff game against Grand Valley State (11/26).

2015: Played in 11 games at defensive lineman as a freshman… Finished the season with 16 tackles, including two for loss and one sack… Recorded three tackles and a half sack against Texas A&M-Kingsville (9/19)… Recorded three tackles against Tarleton State (10/3).
 
Prior to A&M-Commerce: Recorded 290 tackles, 15 sacks and 40 tackles for loss at Killeen… Had his best performance against Leander, recording 27 tackles, three sacks and four tackles for loss… Three-time First Team All-District… 2012 District Defensive Newcomer of the Year… Three-time All-Area… Defensive MVP and team captain… Lettered in football and track and field.

Personal: Born June 4, 1996… Son of Richard Searcy & Leanne Nicholas … Related to former NFL players Kevin Mathis and Carl Mims.
