2007: A first team all-Lone Star Conferenceselection...second among his teammates with 69 tackles and sharedthe team lead with three interceptions...recovered a fumble andbroke up a pass against East Central (Oct. 27)...recorded acareer-high and team-high 14 tackles in the season finale againstSouthwestern Oklahoma State (Nov. 10)...among the 14 tackles were acareer-high eight solo efforts...posted 12 tackles, including aseason-high 1.5 for loss against Ouachita Baptist (Sept.1)...picked off a pass against Tarleton State (Sept. 22),Northeastern State (Oct. 13) and East Central (Oct. 27)...talliedsix solo tackles against Southeastern Oklahoma State (Oct. 6) enroute to eight total stops...had nine tackles against CentralOklahoma (Sept. 29). 2006 Did not see any action.2005: Saw action in six games with 11 tackles...had an assist on a tackle with Austin Jackson for his firstcollegiate tackle against Southern Arkansas (Aug. 25)...shared in atackle for a two-yard loss with All-American J.D. Prior to A&M-Commerce: Named tothe Texas High School Coaches Association Class 4A AcademicAll-State Football team...received honorable mention on the state'sAssociated Press' Class 4A all-state team...only player to receiveAll-District 25-4A honors on defense (defensive back) and offense(wide receiver)...his league-leading six interceptions earned himfirst team all-league honors...he was second on the team with 92tackles with 48 solos and 44 assists; plus he caused three fumblesand recovered two...had three of the interceptions againstGonzales...also lettered four years in track and field, in additionto three letters in football.
