East Texas A&M University Athletics

Dakotah McGowen serves as a student assistant coach for the Lions football team. He assists with the tight ends and running backs.

McGowen is a 2017 graduate of North Forney High School.  He participated in football and powerlifting during his high school career and attended A&M-Commerce with the intention to become a football coach.

He is scheduled to graduate from Texas A&M University - Commerce in 2021. Dakotah’s parents family all reside in Wills Point.
