Dave Ewart

Dave Ewart

Dave Ewart enters his third year as the offensive line coach in 2025. 

He most recently served as the defensive coordinator for the Frisco Fighters as well. He started his playing career at Salem International and then transferred to East Tennessee State. He was a two-time All-Southern Conference selection and named a Division I-AA All-American as well.
 
He began his coaching career as the offensive line coach at East Tennessee State as well as Glenville State as well before joining the arena football ranks. He was named the defensive and offensive coordinator of the Cleveland Thunderbolts in 1994 and was named the head coach of the St. Louis Stampede in 1996. The Stampede advanced to the AFL Quarterfinals in 1996 and he took over as head coach of the Texas Terror in 1997.
 
Ewart has also had head coaching stints with the Florida Bobcats (2000-01) and Tampa Bay Storm (2011-13). The Storm qualified for the playoffs in 2013 and made it to the conference semifinals. He worked for the Arizona Rattlers and the Jacksonville Sharks before joining the coaching staff of the Fighters.
