Dillon Jordan joined the Lion coaching staff as an offensive line assistant at the start the 2014 season.

During his time with the Lions, he has helped coach three All-Americans (Jared Machorro (2016 and 2017), Elwood Clement (2015) and Shane Thompson (2015). 11 offensive lineman have been named to the All-Conference teams during Jordan’s tenure.

During the 2017 National Championship season, the Lions continued to sport one of the top offensive lines in the country. With the help of Jordan, Jared Machorro continued to receive national acclaim, being named a First Team All-American by the AFCA, D2CCA and D2Football.com, as well as Second Team All-American by the Associated Press. Machorro was also named First Team All-Super Region 4, LSC Offensive Lineman of the Year and First Team All-Lone Star Conference. Jon Aguilar was named Second Team All-LSC at center while Poet Thomas was named Second Team All-LSC at guard.

The team was second in the LSC in fewest tackles for loss allowed.

During the 2016 season, Jordan helped coach the best offensive line in the Lone Star Conference. The line gave up the fewest sacks in the conference and was second in the nation in sacks allowed.

During the 2014 season, the team led the nation in total offense and has led the LSC in total offense three consecutive years.

Prior to his coaching career, Jordan began his collegiate playing career at Louisiana-Monroe. During the 2012 season, he played a part in ULM’s upset of No. 8 Arkansas in the season opener.

He transferred to A&M-Commerce to play under coach Carthel during the 2013 season. He suffered a career-ending injury late in the 2013 season and was hired as an offensive line coach the next season.

Jordan was a unanimous All-District Lineman at Rowlett High School under coach Kiff Hardin.
