Joshua George arrived to East Texas A&M as an assistant offensive line coach going into the 2026 season.
George most recently served as the graduate assistant coach for offensive side at Eastern Illinois. In his two seasons with the Panthers, he coordinated and scripted the scout team for practices, conducted individual drills, and was essential in a complete overhaul of the run game, while assisting in the development of offensive game plan. Three players were named to the all-conference team and one was crowned an All-American under his tutelege.
Prior to Eastern Illinois, he was the tight ends coach and assistant offensive line coach at Arkansas-Monticello. He led the tight ends and offensive tackles united, while collabarting with the rest of the offensive coaching staff on the game plan for each game. He was responsible for bringing in 19 recruits while on staff and three players were named to the all-conference team.
A native of Benton, Arkansas, George was a member of the football team at the Central Arkansas.
