Tanner Marsh joined the Lion coaching staff to start the 2017 season. He works in Offensive Quality Control.
Prior to coming to Commerce, Marsh played in the Arena Football League for the Cleveland Gladiators, throwing for four touchdowns before an injury ended his playing career. Marsh also played for the Montreal Alouettes during the 2013-15 seasons, throwing for 1,344 yards and six touchdowns. He also had 13 rushing touchdowns. He also played for the Arkansas Tech Wonderboys, throwing for 2,875 yards in 2012.
Marsh played collegiately at West Texas A&M from 2008-11 as a quarterback. Originally from Carrollton, Marsh attended Hebron High School. In his senior year, he threw for 4,037 yards and 25 touchdowns, leading his team to the quarterfinals of the playoffs.
