Trey Marks joined the coaching staff in the fall of 2015 as the assistant wide receivers coach as well as working in Offensive Recruiting Operations for A&M Commerce. He assisted in coaching two All-Conference wide receivers, and helped the Lions to their third consecutive Lone Star Conference title, and their first NCAA Playoff win since 1991. Marks became the assistant Running Backs and A’s coach in the 2016 season.

Prior to his coaching career, Marks was an offensive lineman under coach Carthel during the 2014 and 2015 seasons, winning back-to-back conference championships.

Previous to A&M Commerce, Marks graduated from Little Elm High School where he was a two-year starter at left tackle, and a four-year letter winner in power lifting, and was a state qualifier his senior year.
