2007: Named tothe Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Southwest Region ThirdTeam...selected as the Lone Star Confernece North DivisionCo-Offensive Lineman of the Year along with Austin Ellis ofSouthwestern Oklahoma State...earned first team all-Lone StarConference North Division honors...anchor of an offensive line thataveraged 111.1 yards per game on the ground and 196.9 yards throughthe air...a lead blocker for Nabil El-Amin, who rushed for over 100yards and an offense that averaged 354.4 yards a game in the lastfive games of the season. Spring 2007 (Track andField): Earned All-American honors in the discus with afifth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Track and FieldChampionships...had a season-best throw in the finals with a tossof 167-8...only the third All-American in the discus in schoolhistory.
