Tyler Daigneault arrived at East Texas A&M as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2023.
He most recently served as an athletic training intern at Ohio State, working specifically with the Buckeyes' Softball program. He created and implemented post-surgical rehab program for biceps tenodesis & labral repair, including hitting and throw down operations. He also implemented the use of Alter G & Hydroworx underwater treadmill.
Prior to his stint in Columbus, Daigneault was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Northwestern State, working with the Lady Demons' softball program as well as the track & field programs. While in Natchitoches, he created and implemented a shoulder injury prevention program and RTP for hamstring strains.
A native of Tacoma, Washington, Daigneault graduated from Northwestern State with a masters of science in health and human performance, with a focus on sport administration. He received his bachelors of science in athletic training from Eastern Washington. He is a BOC certified athletic trainer, Ohio State athletic trainer licensee, National Athletic Training Association Member, American Heart Association CPR/AED BLS Provider certified, and certified mental health first aider.
