Prior to A&M-Commerce: AttendedHuston-Tillotson for one year prior to transferring toA&M-Commerce...placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles at theNAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships...also qualified forthe NAIA Championships as a member of Tillotson's 4x400-meterrelay...advanced to the state meet in high school as a member ofDallas Skyline's 4x400-meter relay...also advanced to regionals inthe 100- and 300-meter hurdles.

Personal: Born April 12, 1990...daughter ofRichard and Evelyn Petty...a radio-television major.
