Cassidy Stankowski joined the Lion volleyball coaching staff in fall 2017 after a standout playing career at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Conn. She started in 68 matches over four seasons for the Blue Devils and played in 83 matches. In her career, she had 576 kills, 733 digs, 109 blocks and 42 service aces, scoring a total of 678.5 points.
As a high school player at Frontier Regional, her team won three state championships. She was a four-time All-State selection and was named Massachusetts Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year and was selected as an Under Armour All-America Honorable Mention.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree from CCSU in the spring of 2017.
