Prior to A&M-Commerce: Transferred to A&M-Commerce after graduating from Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y. Played volleyball for two years under head coach Jon Killingbeck... Was a defensive and return specialist. Named Academic All-Conference and named to the President’s List in both of her athletic seasons.
 
Prior to Collegiate Career: Three-year letter winner in volleyball at Stephen F. Austin HS under coaches Thomas Kane and Marie Bruce... Was a setter and a server... As a senior, was named District 15-5A Most Valuable Setter and was named to the Under Armour Watch List... As a junior, was named to the AISD All-Tournament Team... As a sophomore, was named an Honorable Mention Setter... Was also named Academic All-District three times.
