This game was marred by fumbles and frequent lapses in the fighting spirit of the line. One of the Wesley backs made numerous long gains right through the line and the game would have been lost but for the brilliant work of our own backfield. Worsham became the avowed hero of the Normal rooters when he broke the tie and won the game in the last two minutes of play by recovering a fumble and racing to the Wesley goal.
