It was an all-around team effort from the Lions with balanced scoring as: Stefon Carson (16), Desmond King (15), Tyris Dowell (12) and Preston Whitley (10) all scored double figures and Whitley adding 11 rebounds for a double-double.

The Lions held off strong performances by shimeek Johnson, who led all scoreres with 22, and Remy Boswell, who turned in a double-double: 15 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lions will return to action, next Monday January 3, 2011 at 7 p.m., when they travel to Tarleton St.  Their next home contest is January 6, 2011 against Incarnate Word at the Texas A&M-Commerce Field House.
