FIRST KICK
Lions will look to keep offense and winning streak rolling as they face two tough road contests this week. Angelo State and Midwestern State are sitting a top the Lone Star Conference standings currently and have faired well recently against the Lions so it will be tough to get the full six points from the two games. 

SERIES SCORE
The Lions have lost seven straight overall to the Mustangs and have not won in Wichita Falls since 2003. The Mustangs have outscored the Lions 12-2 in Wichita since the Lions last win. A&M-Commerce has split the last two meetings in San Angelo. The Lions and Rambelles did not play at each team's home field between 1998 and 2011 due to the number of teams and schedule structure of the Lone Star Conference.

SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
The Mustangs have been playing well recently winning four of their last five with a double overtime tie to Eastern New Mexico thrown in. One of those four wins came against the Lions two weeks ago. Ashley Cottrell leads the offense for the Mustangs with 14 points on six goals and two assists. Tatyanny Griffiths is second on the team in points (7) and goals (3) so far this season. Kallie Essary has played all but 18 minutes in net for the Mustangs. Essary has posted a .845 save percentage and has four shutouts on the season.

SCOUTING THE RAMBELLES
Angelo State has won two straight after a loss to Texas Woman's back on the sixth of October, and sit atop the Lone Star Conference standings with a 4-1 conference record.  Sierra Anderson leads the Rambelles with five goals on the season and leads the team with eight points. Selena Alvarez is second on the team with four goals. The defense has been outstanding for Angelo State; as they lead the conference in goals against average at .626. Dani Edwards has started 10 of the 12 games for Angelo State and has a .48 goals against average and has posted five shutouts.

GOALS ALL AROUND
In the 6-2 win over Oklahoma Christian the Lions had six different goal scorers and eight different players register a point.

NIGHT OF FIRSTS
Freshman, Emalee McMillian, recorded her first start, save and win in the 6-2 win over Oklahoma Christian.

LIONS LSC BEST
The A&M-Commerce attack is currently the top scoring offense in the conference. The Lions have scored 23 goals and average 2.09 goals per game so far this season.

LIONS AMONG LSC LEADERS
Freshman, Savannah Henderson, currently leads the LSC in; points (17), shots (44), shots per game (4.0), points per game (1.55), goals per game (.545). Senior forward, Brionna Minde, its currently tied with Henderson in assists (5) and assists per game (.455) to lead the LSC in both categories.
