A Renata Marquez three-pointer gave the Wildcats a 42-26 advantage with 4:37 to play and capped the run. Fifteen was the lead when the halftime buzzer sounded, 47-32, in favor of the Wildcats.

Ball movement was a key for ACU in first half with 12 assists on 19 made field goals. The Wildcats shot 4-9 from behind the arc and 54.3% overall in the first half. The Lions had just four assists on 13 field goals and 1-5 from behind the line. A&M-Commerce shot well from field, 44.9%, though.
