NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Danielle Dixon put in 14 points, but the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks were too much on Monday night, knocking off A&M-Commerce 101-59 at the William R. Johnson Coliseum.

The Lions (1-8) held as much as a five-point lead midway through the first half, putting in nearly half of its shots in the game's opening 10 minutes behind eight quick points from Dixon; however, the Ladyjacks (6-6) scored 22 of the last 30 points of the first half, and the second half on a 15-6 burst.

Dixon added four rebounds to her total, and
Breanna Harris just missed her fifth double-double of the season with nine points and eight rebounds; but the Ladyjacks dominated the boards as a team, outrebounding the Lions 59-35, including 24-11 on the offensive glass.

La'Tisha Heard and Symond Brown had seven points apiece, and
Alize Pegue added four assists.

Overall, the Ladyjacks finished with five players in double figures, led by freshman Taylor Ross' 21 points and 11 rebounds. Porsha Roberts added 19 points and 10 rebounds of her own.

SFA also finished with nine three-point buckets on 18 tries and was 26 of 36 from the foul line, while the Lions were just 1-for-11 from beyond the arc on the night with the lone triple coming from Brown in the game's final minute.Â
