OPENING TIP
The Lions will look to end their two game losing streak when the Pioneers come to The Field House on Wednesday. A&M-Commerce then closes out the first half of conference play with a trip to Stephenville to take on Tarleton State. Each of the Lions three wins have come after a losing streak of at least two. 
SERIES SCORE
A&M-Commerce is 29-39 all-time versus the Pioneers, but the Lions have won the last two and sweeping the season series a year ago. Those two wins snapped a six game losing streak to Texas Woman's. The Lions are also 10 games under .500 versus the TexAnns (17-27) all-time. A&M-Commerce has lost six straight to the TexAnns and have not beaten them since the 2008-09 season, which was also the last time the Lions won in Stepenville.

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Texas Woman's dropped their last game to West Texas A&M, 81-65, which ended their three game winning streak. In terms of common opponents the Pioneers have beaten Ouachita Baptist (80-72), Central Oklahoma (81-53), and Southeastern Oklahoma (62-56). The Lions went 1-2 versus those opponents; win over OBU (68-64), loses to Central Oklahoma (71-60) and Southeastern Oklahoma (85-83). The Pioneers rank fifth in ppg (66.3) and sixth (69.1) in scoring defense among LSC teams. The Pioneers are also second in the LSC in rebounding defense at 33.8 so far this season.

SCOUTING THE TEXANNS
Tarleton State comes into the game versus A&M-Commerce with a win last time out versus Eastern New Mexico, 89-71. The win snapped a two game losing streak for the TexAnns, the two losses coming versus Cameron (69-64) and #7 West Texas A&M (82-60). The only common opponent for the Lions and the TexAnns is Central Oklahoma. The TexAnns beat the Bronchos at the Texas Woman's Tournament back in November (72-62), while the Lions dropped thier season opener versus UCO, 71-60, in Austin.

DIXON AND HARRIS AMONG GREATS
Seniors, Danielle Dixon and Breanna Harris have chances to become the ninth and 10th players in program history to reach the 1,000 points in a Lion uniform. Dixon needs 6 points to reach 1,000 and Harris needs 15 to reach that milestone. 
HARRIS CONTINUES TO GRAB DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Harris continues to put up great production so far this season for the Lions. Harris is averaging 16.1 points and 10.4 rebounds in 16 games so far. Harris has recorded double-doubles in seven of 16 games. Harris has already set the program record for double-doubles in a career with her 33 in a Lion uniform. Only three other Lion players have ever recorded 10 more double-doubles during their careers. 
HARRIS NOW SECOND ON REBOUNDING LIST
Senior forward Breanna Harris is now second all-time in rebounding with 790 rebounds in her Lion career. Katedria Mosley is the all-time leader with 841 rebounds. Harris already owns two of the four best rebounding seasons in Lions history and is now just 51 away from the record.

Harris ranks 21st in rpg (10.4), 10th in field goal percentage (60.5) and t-38th with 7 double-doubles.

Head Coach Nicole Anderson
Anderson enters her fifth season at the helm of the A&M-Commerce Lions women's basketball program. Expectations have been raised for Anderson and the Lions after last season's nine win improvement from '11-'12. The turn around also earned Anderon Co-Coach of the Year for the Lone Star Conference a season ago.
