OPENING TIP
A&M-Commerce will look to split the season series with the Javelinas on Thursday and will try to win in Kingsville for the second straight season. The Lions dropped a non-conference game versus South Dakota School of Mines on Monday, 65-60. 
SERIES SCORE
The Lions own a 31-29 record versus the Javelinas of Kingsville. The teams have split the last six meetings after the Kingsville win earlier this season in Commerce. Since 2000 the Lions are 4-6 when heading down to south Texas. The average win margin for the Lions is 13 in those 4 wins.

SCOUTING THE JAVEINAS
The Javelinas will play Texas Woman's on Wednesday night before taking the court the Lions on Thursday. A&M-Kingsville is 2-3 in their last five coming into this week's action. After facing the Lions the Javelinas travel to Stephenville and Lawton, Okla. for games versus Tarleton State and Cameron. So far this season the Javelinas are fifth in scoring (67.6) and seventh (71.2) in scoring defense in the Lone Star Conference.

Harris is now eighth on the all-time scoring list for the Lions with 1,054 career points. Kanani Marshall is next on the list with 1,074 career points. 
HARRIS CONTINUES TO GRAB DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Harris continues to put up great production so far this season for the Lions. Harris is averaging 15.3 ppg and 10.6 rpg in 20 games. Harris has recorded double-doubles in 10 games. Harris has already set the program record for with her 36. Only three other Lion players have ever recorded 10 more double-doubles during their careers. 
HARRIS NOW SECOND ON REBOUNDING LIST
Senior forward Breanna Harris is now second all-time in rebounding. Katedria Mosley is the all-time leader with 841 rebounds. Harris already is now 117 away from the record. 
HARRIS AMONG ACTIVE LEADERS
The senior forward is ranked fifth among active players in rebounding average over her career with a 9.9 average. Among the Top 10 Harris has done it the fewest amount of games (72).

HEARNE ON PACE TO HIT 500 CAREER POINTS THIS SEASON
The junior forward is sitting at 463 points in her career and could potentially get to 500 in the remaining 6 games this season. She would need to average 6.1 ppg to reach the .
BROWN ALMOST TO 300
The sophomore forward is just 3 points away from reaching 300 in her career and do it in under 50 games.
LEAUPEPE-TELE RECORDS 200th REBOUND
After not playing last season Leaupepe-Tele recorded her 200th offensive rebound versus S.D. Mines on Monday night. The senior has totaled 207 in her career. 

OLIVER UPING PRODUCTION
The junior guard has doubleed her career point total this season with her so far. Oliver has set career highs in every major statistical category.

Head Coach Nicole Anderson
Anderson enters her fifth season at the helm of the A&M-Commerce Lions women's basketball program. Expectations have been raised for Anderson and the Lions after last season's nine win improvement from '11-'12. The turn around also earned Anderon Co-Coach of the Year for the Lone Star Conference a season ago.
