New Orleans-Â The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Academic awards for Division II Track and Field. The Lions Women's Track & Field Team was recognized as an All-Academic Team, while
 Brikel Bailey was individually recognized for her efforts in the classroom. On the men's side, the Lions had four student-athletes honored:
 Dorian McCradic,
 Dexter Lee,
 Tyler Hemenway, and
 Kevin Garcia.
To be recognized as an All-Academic Team, the team's cumulative grade point average (GPA) must be 3.00 or higher. To recieve the honor individually, the student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher and have reached the provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either the indoor or outdoor seasons. The Lions Women's team earned a 3.00 GPA.
Brikel Bailey was honored with her 3.36 GPA in Human Performance.
 Dorian McCradic (3.90 GPA-Biological Science),
 Dexter Lee (3.72 GPA-Business Management),
 Tyler Hemenway (3.40 GPA-Finance), and
 Kevin Garcia (3.56 GPA-Human Performance) rounded out the men's side.
