COMMERCE, TEXAS - The kickoff to the A&M-Commerce season is just hours away, as the Lions are scheduled to take on the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) Mountain Lions at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

The Lions are coming off a 2013 season where they went 11-6-2 en route to their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance. UCCS meanwhile begins their season after going 9-8-1 in 2013, which ended with them losing 0-1 to No. 24 Fort Lewis in their first game of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) tournament. This will be the first time in either school's histories that they've faced each other in soccer

The Lions will be relying on their offense to win the contest. Forwards
Savannah Henderson and
Jade Bell return to their roles from last year, while sophomore
Vicky Back has been moved from her defender position from last year to the third forward spot.

Tickets will be available at the gates for $5.00. A&M-Commerce students with a current ID as well as children 12 and under may attend free of charge.
