COMMERCE, Texas – In a pivotal LSC contest, the Lion soccer team defeated Texas Woman's 4-1 at Lion Soccer Field on Thursday night. With the win, A&M-Commerce stands at 7-4-2 overall, including a 3-1-2 mark in Lone Star Conference play.

Honestly, once we hit the third goal, I didn't think it was going to stop. We let them back into the game with a silly goal in the second half, but our fourth goal finished it off. Savannah Grasser perfectly, and Grasser was able to start the scoring less than nine minutes into the game.

Ashley Phillips found the net for the first time this season, with Grasser earning the assist.
