Commerce, Texas – No. 11 A&M-Commerce is looking to finish without a loss in Lone Star Conference play for the 11th time in program history with a win over No. 10 Midwestern State in Memorial Stadium on Senior Day and Homecoming with kickoff set for 3 p.m.
1st and 10- The Lions improved to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in Lone Star Conference play after a 38-20 win on the road at WT. The win boosted the Lions to No. 11 in the AFCA Coaches Poll.
- The 7-0 deficit at the end of the first quarter was the first time in 2015 the Lions were held scoreless in the first. It was the second time the Lions trailed after the first quarter. A&M-Commerce entered outscoring opponents 79-31 in the first frame.

Darby Smith's score in the second quarter was his sixth touchdown of the season and his fourth straight game with a touchdown reception. He has caught a TD pass in six of the seven games this season.
- With his blocked punt in the second quarter,
Davarus Shores has blocked a punt in back-to-back games after providing what held up to be the game-winning punt block and score vs. Angelo State. Shores now has blocked seven kicks in his Lions career.

Richard Cooper threw and completed his first pass of his career, a 12-yard touchdown to Chris Chumley. Cooper has now rushed, thrown and caught a touchdown this season.
- Cooper's 116 rushing yards gives him seven straight games with over 100 yards to set a new A&M-Commerce school record for consecutive 100-yard rushing games overall and in a single-season. Cooper has now rushed for 948 yards, just 52 yards shy of becoming the first Lion running back with over 1,000 yards since Cliff Edwards ran for 1,041 yards in 2005.

Theo Wofford's 125 yards and Coopers 116 yards on the ground, the Lions churned out two backs with 100 plus yards for the fourth time this season.
- The Lions allowed just 46 yards rushing for the lowest total in 2015. WT entered the game averaging 179.6 yards on the ground a game.
- With a win Saturday, the Lions can claim the program's 22nd LSC Championship--2nd most in conference history--and claim back-to-back titles for the first time since the 1958-59 seasons.
About the Series against the Mustangs- The two teams meet for the 20th time Saturday, with A&M-Commerce holding an 11-8 advantage in the series. However, MSU has won the last four meetings in the series and eight of the last nine meetings. The four-game streak matches the longest winning streak for the Mustangs in the all-time series.
- The Mustangs took the 2014 game 40-37 in Wichita Falls after the Lions missed a game-tying field goal.
- A&M-Commerce is 7-2 against the Mustangs in Memorial Stadium. The last Lion win came in 2005 at home.

About No. 10 Midwestern State- The Mustangs enter the game at 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the LSC ... Midwestern State topped No. 10 and previously unbeaten Humboldt State 35-10 in Wichita Falls.

- MSU averages 32.3 points per game, while holding opponents to only 19 points per game. The defense gives up only 380.4 yards per game including 168.9 yards on the ground per game.
- Vincent Johnson leads the team averaging 73.1 yards per game on the ground. Johnson has carried the ball 80 times and scored five rushing touchdowns.
- Quarterback Quade Coward averages 39.9 yards per game rushing and 130 yards per game throwing the football. Coward has complete 65 of his 124 passes with three INTs and six touchdowns.
- Arsenion Phillips leads the team in receptions with 23 and averages 48.1 yards receiving with five touchdown catches. Statron Jones has caught 22 passes and leads th team averaging 57.6 yards per game.
