COMMERCE, Texas – The Lion soccer team collected their second win in three days on Sunday afternoon, defeating Emporia State 2-1 at Lion Soccer Field. The loss broke a season-opening three game winning streak for the Hornets, while the Lions have now won their last two matches.

Savannah Grasser's third goal of the year came on a penalty kick in the 43rd minute, giving the Lions a 2-1 lead that held up for the rest of the game.
