Inside the box score
- Wallace's 6-yard INT was the first of the freshman's career. It was also the first score of his career.

- The Wallace pick-6 was the first defensive score of the season for the Lions. It was the last Lion defensive score since the Heart of Texas Bowl to end the 2014 season when Dionte Taylor ran back an INT for a 95-yard score.

- Smith's INT was the second of his career and second of the season.  His first pick game against Adams State in the season opener.

- Davarus Shores finished with eight tackles, one off of his career-high of nine.

- Kingsville finished with 67 rushing yards on 31 carries. The Lion defense has not give up a 100 rushing game to an opponent through the first three games of 2015.  The Javelinas 339 yards of total offense was the least the Lions have given up this season.

- Coopers' 158 yards was a new career-high snapping his 149 yards against Delta State in the 2015 opener.  His 28 rushing attempts was also a career-best.  Cooper has now rushed for over 100 yards in the first three games of the season. He is the first Lion to rush for over 100 yards in three straight games through the 2000s.  Cooper has already rushed for 442 yards on the season.

- Theo Wofford picked up his first 100-yard rushing game of the season.  His 121 yards was a new career-high.  His 48-yard run was the longest of his career and the second longest run of the season for the Lions missing the season-high by one yard.  His 11.0 yards per carry average set a new A&M-Commerce school record for yards per rush. The old mark of 10.3 yard per carry was set by Joe Bergeron, 134 yards on 13 carries, against East Texas Baptist in the 2014 season opener.

- Macon scored his first and second career touchdowns while in a Lion uniform with his second half scores.

- A&M-Commerce earned its fourth straight Chennault Cup win Saturday pulling the Chennault Cup series to 13-6 in favor of Kingsville.  The win gets the Lions to 26-37-1 in the all-time series with Javelinas.

What's Next
- The Lions return to the friendly confines of Memorial Stadium Saturday, September 26 at 7 p.m. Looking ahead, the Lions are 13-15 all-time against the Greyhounds.
