Turning Point

After trailing in the fourth set, the Lions scored six straight points to take their first lead with an 18-17 score which forced a fifth set. The Lions won the fifth set 15-12 and the match 3-2.

 A quick 4-1 start by the Lions quickly turned into an 8-4 deficit. The Lions regained the lead and did not look back winning the set 25-19. Baric led the Lions in kills that set with five.

After the Lions received the first point of the set, UC-Colorado Springs came out firing taking a 9-3 lead. The Mountain Lions never relinquished the lead in the second set beating the Lions 25-13 and splitting the first two sets.
