Lawton, Okla. – Cameron rally from an 18-point deficit and shot a sizzling 74 percent from the floor in the second half to hand the A&M-Commerce men's basketball team a 66-57 road loss snapping the Lions nine-game winning streak Wednesday night in Aggie Gym in a Lone Star Conference game.
Turning Point- Cameron mounted a 19-5 run over a five-minute span in the second half to trim a 17-point deficit down to a three-point margin, 47-44, with 11: 23 left to play. A&M-Commerce had previously led by as many as 18 points in the first half. Cameron shot 17 percent from the floor in the first half before making 17 of their 23 shots in the second half for 74 percent.

Summary1st Half- The Lions opened up the lead early on the Aggies limiting Cameron to just four points through the first 11 and a half minutes of play as A&M-Commerce led 20-4.
- A&M-Commerce took the first half lead out to 18 points with four and a half left and even carried an 18-point advantage, 30-12, with 2:38 remaining before taking a 13-point lead, 32-19, into the half.
2nd Half- The Lions came out of the locker room and pushed the margin out to 17 points, 42-25, with 16:13 remaining, but Cameron mounted their charge with a 19-5 run over the next five minutes to trim the margin down to 47-44.
- A&M-Commerce could not regain its early game form as Cameron rallied and took their first lead of the game, 56-55, with 2:59 remaining. The Aggies carried its momentum from the comeback and closed the final three minutes out with a 10-2 run to claim the 66-57 win.
What's Next?- The Lions return to The Field House, where they remain 7-0, with No. 4 ranked Midwestern State Saturday at 6 p.m. The Mustangs will enter the game at 14-1 overall and 3-0 in the LSC after knocking off No. 6 ranked Tarleton State Wednesday night.
