HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions wasted no time getting on the board, as Kotlik headed in a Haywood corner kick just 1:28 into the match for the early 1-0 lead.

In the 11th minute, Paul rifled a cross in from the right side, where Grasser's initial shot was saved, but the senior put in the rebound for a 2-0 advantage.

In the 15th minute, Paul scored her first collegiate goal, scoring from close range off of Back's cross. The score went to 4-0 in the 33rd minute, when Bunselmeyer found Grasser, who put the ball in the back of the net for her second of the night.

Back launched a long free kick into the penalty area in the 41st minute, finding Paul at the back post for her second goal of both the night and the season.

Kotlik's second goal of the night was a circus shot off of Porter's assist, pushing the lead to 6-0 at halftime.

Grasser sealed her hat trick in the 60th minute, when Paul's long pass over the top found the forward, who chipped the goalkeeper to make it 7-0.

The Falcons pulled back a consolation goal in the 70th minute on Lindsey Bray's shot on a breakaway, but the 20-5 shot differential in the Lions' favor was too much for the guests to overcome.
