- Goalkeeper Caitlin Duty made eight saves, as ASU outshot the Lions 20-13. Only nine of those shots by the Rambelles were on target.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Neither team was able to score in the opening 45 minutes, as Duty made three saves in the first 10 minutes of action to keep the match scoreless.

Angelo State's Demi Tsambasis hit the post in the 48th minute with a header and would give the hosts the lead by heading in a goal in the 65th minute.

The Lions continued to push forward while trailing and Grasser's goal in the 77th minute off of the Haywood assist relieved some of the late game pressure by tying the game at 1-1.

Duty made two saves, with the restart off of the second save sparking a surge. Back got the ball to Grasser in the 84th minute, with Grasser putting it away for her second goal of the game and seventh of the season to give the Lions the late lead. A&M-Commerce would not allow Angelo State to take another shot in the game.
