Volleyball alum Rachel Croley named to AVCA Thirty Under 30 high school coaches list

COMMERCE– Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball alumna Rachel Croley has been named to the Thirty Under 30 high school coaches list by the American Volleyball Coaches' Association.

Croley– now the head volleyball coach at Oak Ridge High School– was a standout volleyball player for the Lions in her four seasons. A 2013 graduate who competed in both volleyball and track for the Lions, Croley was the 2012 Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, recording more than 400 kills while hitting .377 on the year. She was a three-time All-Conference selection in her career and a two-time All-Academic selection. With her 1,359 career kills, Croley ranks fourth in program history. She graduated cum laude with a degree in psychology.

"This is a great honor for Rachel and we couldn't be more proud of her," said A&M-Commerce volleyball coach Craig Case, who coached Croley for three seasons. "I'm very happy that she has found enjoyment and success in coaching and teaching. I look forward to many more personal and professional accomplishments for Rachel."

The Thirty Under 30 list was created by the AVCA in 2009 to honor up-and-coming coaching talent at all levels of the sport. In 2016, an exclusive list began for high school coaches.
