Andrew Armstrong named to HERO Sports Sophomore All-America team

COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce wide receiver Andrew Armstrong has been named to the Sophomore All-America team by HERO Sports on Thursday.
 
Armstrong (Dallas – Bishop Dunne) put together one of best seasons for a wide receiver in NCAA Division I FCS this season. He earned first team all-Southland Conference honors and led the conference in receiving yards during the regular season and tied for first in touchdown catches.
 
He had 100 yards or more in six games, recording multiple touchdown catches in four games. He finished the regular season 14th in the country in receiving yards.
