FRISCO – Texas A&M University-Commerce women's golfer Benz Far-Arun has been named the Southland Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for the second straight month, sweeping the category during the fall season.
 
Far-Arun (Bangkok, Thailand) began the month of October by winning the Lady Red Wolves Classic. The individual medal in the 95-golfer tournament was the first for Far-Arun as a Lion. She was the top finisher on the team in all three tournaments last month.
 
She also tied for 13^th in the final tournament of the fall, The Judson. Far-Arun shot 72 or under in five of her nine rounds during the month and had two rounds of 68's during October.
 
The Lions ended their fall season last month and now prepare for the spring season, which begins on February 19-20 at the Islander Classic in Corpus Christi.
